How does the new customer loyalty program work for customers?
Customers can download a digital loyalty card/wallet pass on their phone by signing up on this page, or via in-store by scanning the QR code or tapping the NFC sticker on the in-store posters. This digital loyalty card/wallet pass contains a unique QR code that will be scanned during each store visit when a customer spends £10 or more. This is only compatible for Apple and Android phones.
What's the reward for customers when they first download the digital wallet pass?
When customers download their wallet pass for the first time, they will receive a free cupcake to redeem from any Cake Box store on their first visit. After spending £10 or more on future visits, they collect 1 loyalty point each time, when their digital pass gets scanned.
What’s the rewards for collecting loyalty points?
On a customer’s 4th visit, customers receive a free £10 voucher to spend in-store on anything they like on their 5th visit. After this, their digital loyalty pass resets to 0 points and they can start to collect loyalty points again.
How frequently can customers earn loyalty points?
Customers collect 1 point for every store visit where they spend £10 or more. They can only redeem 1 point per day/24 hours.
Can customers earn additional rewards?
Yes, after their 4th visit, when they receive a free £10 voucher to spend on their 5th visit, their digital loyalty card resets afterwards to start again. No free cupcake is given, but they continue to collect 1 point on each visit when they spend £10 or more, for future rewards. They receive a free £10 voucher after collecting 4 loyalty points.
What happens if a customer doesn't spend £10 on a visit?
To collect a loyalty point, customers need to spend £10 or more during their visit. If they spend less, they won't earn a loyalty point for that visit.
How will customers know their loyalty point status?
Customers can track their loyalty points through the digital wallet pass on their phone, where they can visually see their current point balance being updated as well as upcoming rewards.
Can customers use their £10 voucher along with other promotions or discounts?
Yes, customers can use the £10 voucher in conjunction with other promotions or discounts available in-store.
Is there an expiration date for the £10 voucher
If a customer does not visit a Cake Box store to redeem their £10 voucher within 3 months, the voucher will expire.
Can customers share or transfer their digital wallet pass, loyalty points or vouchers to others?
No, loyalty points and vouchers are non-transferable and can only be used by the customer who earned them.
Can customers combine points from multiple passes or accounts?
No, points are specific to each individual customer's digital loyalty card and cannot be combined with other customer accounts.
What happens if a customer forgets to bring their phone with the digital wallet pass?
Customers are unable to redeem points.
Are there any restrictions on how a customer can use the free £10 voucher on their 5th store visit?
The £10 voucher can be used on any purchase in-store, with no specific restrictions on products or categories.
Is this Loyalty Program for in-store and online?
The Loyalty program is only for customers who buy in Cake Box stores or collect their online order from Cake Box stores. Customers cannot redeem any points online currently, but they can collect a point if they use click and collect (over £10).
Can customers redeem their points in different Cake Box stores?
Yes, customers can use collect loyalty points in any UK Cake Box store.
Is there a difference with using Android devices?
Yes, customers with an Android device will need to download or already have a free wallet app on their phone.
